The Art of Trading is the culmination of my trading experience. I have been through the same progression that the majority of traders have undergone. My first exposure to trading came courtesy of the bullmarket of the 1980's, it was in this environment that I discovered that in a bullmarket, everyone is a genius. Of course I didn't realise that until the bullmarket ended. I'm certain that this feeling is familiar to anyone who experienced the boom and subsequent collapse in technology stocks in 2000.

In the following years I proceeded to make every mistake possible in trading, from averaging down, to believing that stockbrokers knew what they were talking about. At one stage I even toyed with the idea that even though I might not be able to trade shares, that didn't mean I couldn't trade derivative's.

It was only when I sat down an started to analyse my motivations for trading and to seriously investigate the concept of money management that I began to feel comfortable with markets. It is these concepts along with the idea of trend following that I seek to communicate to other traders through my workshops,training and the material available on this site.
